SAGITTA
Barbera del Monferrato Superiore Docg
The Barbera that makes up the Sagitta comes from three different vineyards, “Vigna Arturo,” “Vigna Bassa” and “Vigna Sotto Casa.” These are three distinct plots, each with unique characteristics that contribute to the wine’s depth, balance and aromatic complexity.
Harvesting takes place towards the end of September. The Sagitta ages for two years in large French oak barrels, a passage that allows for a slow and gradual evolution, without bringing too pronounced woody notes thus preserving the integrity and purity of the fruit.
Sagitta is AN intense yet elegant Barbera, combining structure and depth with a clean, vibrant flavor profile.
