GEMINA
Rosé Sparkling Wine – Pét-Nat
Gemina is a sparkling rosé wine made from Barbera grapes vinified according to the ancestral method. The grapes, harvested in late August, are gently pressed to limit the extraction of color and tannins from the skins. The resulting must ferments in stainless steel tanks. A portion of this must is kept at low temperatures and later used as a natural starter for the secondary fermentation in the bottle.
In the spring, the chilled must is added to the base wine, which is then bottled and sealed with a crown cap. Fermentation continues in the bottle, without the addition of sulfites, and is completed in contact with yeast, which contributes complexity, a delicate note of bread crust and more volume to the sip.
Gemina presents itself as a lively, fresh and fragrant rosé, with a rustic and genuine soul, capable of expressing all the vitality of Barbera in a new and spontaneous key.
