ALEA
Sweet White Wine
A lucky story
Alea is a white wine made from overripe grapes of Sauvignon blanc. The vineyard from which this wine is obtained is located in the lower and ventilated part of our estate. The alternation of the morning humidity with the wind and the afternoon sun allows for the development of the noble rot -called Botrytis cinerea– on the bunches, leading to an enrichment of sugars and the development of unique scents, such as saffron and honey. The grapes, once harvested, are pressed through a manual press with subsequent fermentation and aging in barriques for at least 18 months.
