With Uvamatris came back in the Middle Ages preparing Ippocrasso, a spicy wine of medieval origin.
- 1 liter of Uvamatris Red Wine
- 100 g. of Honey
- 3 Cinnamon Sticks
- a teaspoon of Powder Ginger
- 5 Cardamom crushed capsules
- 3 or 4 cloves
- a pinch of nutmeg
Crush the whole spices in a mortar. Pour the wine, the honey, the spices in a bowl with an airtigh stopper and let stand for 24 hours. Uvamatris recommends to serve Ippocrasso as aperitif or as digestive, to end the meal.
